Professor Shi-Fen Xu is the Senior Doctor and Director of the Department of Acupuncture at Shanghai Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. A renowned acupuncturist, she is the recipient of multiple awards and honours for feats within the industry and academic world of Chinese medicine. She specialises in the application of acupuncture to treat a variety of discrete disorders: nervous system diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, metabolic diseases, and digestive system diseases.
